EMAIL "WORK-AROUND" DUE TO SPAM
Due to the enormous amount of spam generated off our public site, we are in the process of changing all of our email usernames - again! We will also not provide any email "hotlinks" on the site because they are collected by electronic garbage-scows and sold to advertisers for mass-mailing. This month CHSAA was the proud owner of 4562 spams. We still have to glance through the subject boxes in case a wayward Alumni was accidentally dropped in. TOO MUCH WORK - TOO MUCH TIME!
Our solution is to give you a "graphic" - a picture rather than words - of our email. This can't (we hope) bbe read and scooped up by the cruising collectors. Yes, it means you will have to type it in manually instead of just clicking and having it addressed to us automatically. Spam has pretty much ruined it for a lot of people. You can still add us to your own addressbook, however, and use a "click and send ."
1. We have replaced our oldest username, alumni with chsalumni. The graphic of this new address is below. Use this email when writing directly to us with a question or general comments etc. The usernames are NOT case-sensitive, so you may use all lower-case if you wish.
2. On our form page, we have altered the HTML mailto instruction, by deleting our automatic address. We're hoping it will still open your email program leaving the address line blank instead of addressing it to us. You then will manually type in the address below. You will also find this graphic on the form page itself, in order to copy it correctly. Forms go to the individual class secretaries. We hope this works. If for some reason clicking the "send" button doesn't work, please alert us with a regular email to the address above. (Visit the Form Page)

3. Email to be forwarded directly to a particular class secretary. This username was classmail and now is just classes. Be sure and indicate in the SUBJECT BOX which class year the mail is going to. (Class of 19XX etc) It will be forwarded to the appropriate secretary.

4. When using the short form to update a particular part of your data, we've replaced update with shortform. This is a form page which we have altered the same way we did the long form. Hopefully, it will open your email program. (Visit the Update Page)
